As a Director of Engineering (and a technical lead) at Tapad, Eun manages and leads the marketplace team designing, developing, and maintaining Tapad's distributed, high performance real-time RTB marketplace platform that is scalable to ~1 million requests per second and billions of ad impressions per day. And at Tapad, Eun uses Scala every day.

SecondMarket is an exchange for illiquid assets located at Wall street. As a Software Engineer, Eun is working on SecondMarket's trading platform which is the world’s leading platform for trading alternative assets such as private company stock (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) and all alternative assets (Structured Products, Bankruptcy Claims) Eun is in platform service team where he is responsible for the design, development, and delivery of SecondMarket's trading platform back-end services using various edge-cutting technologies and methods such as Java, Spring, MyBatis, Postgress, MongoDB, Scala, Ruby, Solr, and Scrum. Eun also created an automated performance test system for SecondMarket's platform services which executes and emails a report out every night. The automated performance test system provides ability to identify any performance bottleneck and keep track of performance history.

As a software engineer at Lincoln Financial Group, Eun was responsible for leading other engineers and designing, developing and maintaining various trading and asset monitoring systems.

LSI Corportation is an engineering company specialized for RAID system. LSI has more than 5000 engineers across the US and World. Eun joined LSI as a software engineer - designed, developed, and maintained RAID system controller firmware using C, C++, UML, Solaris, VxWorks, and various edge-cutting technologies such as SAS, SATA, FIBRE, SCSI, and iSCSI. Eun was also a main "problem resolver"; for Volume IO group where Eun was responsible for investigating and resolving critical issues - Eun was very trusted with his problem solving skills.

- Developed automation test scripts for VSP (Vantage Service Pack) that navigate CICS screen, capture values from screen of VANTAGE, and create output mainframe files by using MF/TSO, REXX, and QAHiperstation. - Developed automation test scripts that navigate the old Production Public web site and the reformatted Production Public web site, capture values from the two websites into excel files and compare them in order to detect any inconsistency. TestPartner, Visual Basic, and Excel were used.

- Designed and developed applications for real time video processing and user interface manipulation by using C and MAX. - Researched in signal processing and manipulation area, wrote research proposal, design spec, and detailed implementation documentation.

- Supervised employees, ordered items, and managed daily revenues and profits. - Learned the importance of execution, responsibility, and efficient time management.
