어제 출시된 따끈따끈한 ChatGPT Codex를 실제 프로젝트 레포에 써 보았습니다.
테스트가 있으면 스스로 테스트도 실행하고, 만든거 스스로 실행해보면서 버그도 수정하고 하는게 기특하긴 합니다.
물론 아직은 바닥부터 레포를 따서 만들게는 못하고, 네트워크가 제한되어 있고, 아주 복합적인 프로젝트는 잘 처리하지 못하는등의 한계가 매우 많습니다.
그래서 아직은 아주 작은, 환경이 격리된 상태에서도 문제 없는 프로젝트 정도에만 유용할 것 같습니다. 그러니까 리서치 프리뷰겠죠.
하지만 이것들은 어렵지 않게(?) 해결이 가능한 것이고, 무엇보다 “야 너 이것 좀 함 해와봐”의 컨셉이 제대로라서 상당히 기대가 됩니다.
기존의 Agent는 기다리면 되는거긴 해도 페어 프로그래밍 정도였다면, 이건 진짜로 누구에게 시키는 느낌이 듭니다. 딥 리서치의 상위 호환같은 느낌이에요.
컨셉의 기본 자체는 상당히 완성도가 높아서 매우 빠르게 발전할 것 같습니다. 향후 1년 안에 진짜로 주니어 개발자 수준은 될 것 같네요.
